Leading Action for the Oceans We Depend On
Proudly partnering with Ocean Legacy Foundation and Living Oceans.
Who We Are
Waves of Change is a youth-led organization created to deliver real-world environmental impact, not just awareness. Based in Vancouver, we coordinate cleanups, workshops, and youth leadership programs that can scale across Canada through local chapters and school partnerships. Our team is trained, prepared, and donor-ready so partners can trust that every initiative is professionally run and built to grow.

Our Work
Shoreline & Community Cleanups
We organize structured shoreline and community cleanups that remove plastic waste, engage students, and provide measurable environmental impact data for schools and partners. Each cleanup includes safety guidance, data collection, and post-event reflection to connect local action with global ocean health.
School Workshops & Environmental Education
Our workshops give educators ready-to-use, age-appropriate programming on ocean conservation, plastic pollution, and climate action. Sessions can be delivered in-person or virtually, and are designed to fit into existing curriculum objectives while empowering students to lead local initiatives.
Youth Leadership & Advocacy
We create pathways for young people to lead campaigns, design projects, and publish their own work through our Voices of Change platform. From organizing local chapters to presenting to community leaders, students gain real leadership experience while amplifying solutions for healthier oceans.
Stories from Youth on the Front Lines
Voices of Change
Our Voices of Change section highlights articles, reflections, and creative work from students taking action for the oceans in their schools and communities. These stories showcase real impact, inspire new ideas, and give youth a platform to shape the conversation on ocean health and climate justice.
